Reputed Manufacturing Company Requires Business Development Manager
Responsibilities:
- Define and implement strategies for market expansion, setting sales targets, and forecasting revenue growth.
- Research and identify potential clients, new markets, and business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and events.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, acting as the first point of contact.
- Prepare, present, and negotiate, proposals and contracts to win new business and improve existing partnerships.
- Work with marketing, sales, and product teams to align strategies and ensure client needs are met.
- Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales pipeline progress.
- Focuses heavily on identifying, evaluating, and onboarding new suppliers, as well as negotiating contracts and monitoring performance.
- Concentrates on identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships (often B2B), and driving regional sales growth.
- Involves strategic sourcing, managing the acquisition of goods/services, market analysis, and new vendor scouting.
- A field-based sales role requiring extensive travel to build distributor networks, acquire clients, and manage a specific territory.
- Focuses on establishing new trade partnerships, dealer networks, and distribution channels within the assigned region.
Requirements:
- Proven experience (often 5+ years) in business development, sales, or a relevant role. (First Preferred in Agricultural and Pumps Industries)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate market trends and competitor activity.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working under pressure to meet targets.
